The purpose of this letter is to commend the excellent work and integrity of realtor Penny Wright-Mulligan, who recently helped me complete the purchase of a condominium in Novato, California.

Bring an out of state buyer, Penny was extremely attentive to my needs and showed me only listings that fit my needs, were within my budget, and in the towns which fit my lifestyle. The tours were always well organized and the utilization of time was very efficient.

We covered much ground in a short period of time and I felt neither rushed nor pressured to make a quick decision.

Once I found the listing that met all my needs, the negotiations with the seller were quick and Penny always kept me informed of the status. Whenever I called or e-mailed Penny, be it evenings or weekend, invariably I would get a response within 1-2 hours max. At one point, she even left a business meeting to call me back and tell me she would be able to discuss details with me immediately after her meeting.

During the contract and inspection phase, Penny explained the process and even helped with coordination. She provided a detailed timeline and knew exactly what was supposed to happen and when.

The closing of escrow was completed without fanfare. However, during the walkthrough, a minor issue with the seller surfaced and Penny promptly resolved it with the selling agent to compensate me for the inconvenience. Subsequently in the closing, the seller complained about the escrow compensation and Penny promptly took ownership of the problem and resolved it offline with the seller and selling agent.

Post closing I had questions about utility companies, where to buy furniture, etcetera, and Penny continued to be responsive and timely even though the sale had already been consummated.

Over the last thirty years I have completed some 10 real estate transactions and Penny stands out as the most capable and dependable realtor. Penny can be counted on before, during, and even after the sale. More importantly she is a genuine, responsible, and kind a person with integrity.
